Need a sweet senior chihuahua? Holly is for you then. She is 11 years old and weighs 4.6 lbs. She and 20+ other dogs came from a hoarding case in Dekalb County. Holly would love to snuggle on your lap and enjoy her golden years in a quieter home. Unfortunately this breeding momma still needs spayed and a dental very badly so is scheduled for that the end of May once her liver values become lowered and in range. Holly is good with other dogs and a teenager that is in her home. She will be vaccinated with Rabies, kennel cough, distemper, lepto parvo vaccines as well as microchipped. She has had a few dr exams, bloodwork which indicated a slightly elevated liver value so is on a daily milk thistle and will come with at least a 3 month supply. Holly has donations to cover her dental and spay so she does not have an adoption fee. This senior girl just needs a quiet peaceful home to enjoy her golden years. We do encourage a donations to be passed to another dogs adoption fee to help lower it and help them find an amazing home.

Parker is a handsome little guy that came to us with his brother Pacey after his owner sadly passed away. Parker will be a year old June 14 th and would love a family for his first birthday. He is 8.4 lb chihuahua mix that is now neutered, vaccinated with Rabies, kennel cough, distemper, lepto, parvo vaccines. He was given a normal dr wellness exam, microchipped, heartworm/lyme negative. Parker comes with 6 months of sentinel spectrum, harness, leash. Parker will do better with other dogs in the home that can help teach him things. He came to us very timid and unsure but my dogs have helped show him the ropes. He is house broken but not crated. He will cry in his crate for awhile and sometimes potties in his crate I think from getting worked up. Parker walks well on a leash. To help Parker become a better companion we have enrolled him in basic obedience classes that begin 5/20 with Always Faithful K9 Training In Auburn IN. Parker lacks confidence and basic commands. It is a 7 week course from 6-7 pm on Wednesday's and it will need continued until graduation. A potential adopter can even come watch us and we will be there to help guide his new family. Adoption fee for Parker is $400 and includes his Obedience class for 8 weeks.
Looking for a beautiful Dalmatian? This gentle 5 year old will be available the end of May . She came from being a breeding momma so is adjusting well to being inside a home with a family and other dogs. When she was spayed on 5/15 our vet team had noticed a hip concern and took an xray and realized her right hip and pelvis were fractured somehow at some point but is healed. Her foster family say's she runs and plays but does slightly limp on it. No surgery is needed since fractures are healed. Harmony has been vaccinated with Rabies, kennel cough, distemper, lepto, parvo. Her bloodwork is normal and she is heartworm/ lyme negative. Harmony is doing well around people and other dogs. She will receive her dr wellness exam 5/15 when she is spayed. She will come with 6 months of sentinel spectrum and 3 months flea/tick as well as a martingale collar and leash. Adoption fee was $400 but huge thanks to Susan G for a donation we have been able to lower her adoption fee to $300
Bernie Mack is my name but you can also call me Bernie. I came to Loyal K9 Rescue on 5/4 with severe skin concerns. My family tried many things that weren't helping and were expensive so for my care they asked this rescue for help. I have started a food change that has helped, I was shaved down so a special shampoo could better help my skin. I was given medication that seems to help and I am not itchy, bleeding or red like I was. My foster family say's I know to sit, shake, stay and come. I am crate trained but I am also a really good boy if left out. I LOVE to take walks and walk super dooper well on a leash. My foster mom says I shouldn't beg for people food or try to swipe it off counters so I suppose I need to work on that. I am a very smart boy and I love to please my family. I am vaccinated with Rabies, kennel cough, distemper, lepto, parvo until January 2027. I am microchipped, heartworm/lyme negative and come with 6 months of flea/tick prevention and 6 months of sentinel spectrum. My martingale collar and leash come with me because they keep me safe. My adoption fee is only $350 and I will be looking for a forever family that can continue my limited ingredient food and shampoo bathes. I am not contagious and my hair is growing back. Love your future best friend Bernie
Star is my name and I am a beautiful 5 year old Australian Shepherd that come from a big case in Dekalb County. 44 of my other doggy friends were rescued as well from a terrible living/ breeding situation. I am gaining weight, and more energy and stamina with routine food and water. I love to take walks and walk very well on a leash, I lay with my foster mom and 4 legged foster brother. I really enjoy being around kids and do not try to herd them. I am semi house broken and enjoy being out or in a smaller sectioned area but do not like crates since I spent 5 years locked in a very small one. Since I was starved I do try to beg for food and may try to steal what you are eating but I am working on that. I will wrap myself into a blanket to make the perfect spot. I am not use to car rides and am unsure about them but I tolerate them. I will be spayed and vaccinated the end of May then be ready for my perfect home. My foster mom and others have donated to my care so I do not have an adoption fee. Please be patient with me the world is so new. The rescue will also send me with 6 months of sentinel spectrum prevention, toys, martingale collar and leash. Please consider giving a donation to another dog to help them find a perfect home.
Sage is a great little 10 lb 1 year old little doodle. We are unsure of her history or background. We believe a poodle since her tail is docked. Sage is still learning to trust people but is improving daily. Sage is fine with other dog's and does not care about cats. She is doing great crate and potty training. Sage was spayed on 5/16 and given a normal dr wellness exam. She is vaccinated with Rabies, kennel cough, distemper, lepto, parvo and is microchipped. Sage would prefer a calmer lifestyle with older or no kids. Sage comes with a harness, leash and 6 months of sentinel spectrum. Adoption Fee for Sage $400
