Jay is a 2 year old 26 lb Pomsky that came to us after he wasn't able to be cared for. This cool guy is great with other dogs, unsure about cats and is fine with kids around but prefers adults/ dogs over kids. He is very very friendly! Jay could use some basic obedience as he does not know any commands. He is doing very well with crate training and seem's house broken. He has not been around cats. Jay is neutered, vaccinated with Rabies, kennel cough, distemper, lepto, parvo vaccines. He was given a normal dr wellness exam, microchipped, heartworm/lyme negative. Jay comes with 6 months of sentinel spectrum, 3 months of Bravecto Flea/Tick prevention , harness, and leash. Jay's adoption fee was $375 but we are able to drop it to $300 with donation's from our Barkfest event on 6/6/26
Sweet Senior Sadie is a 7 year old 55 lb Golden Retriever that came to us April 11th with 5 other dogs from a dekalb county seizure case where all dogs were removed from a property. Sadie had been hit by a car and suffered severed trauma to her neck. To our surprise nothing was broken so we decided to fight with this girl and get her back to health. Unfortunately Sadie was also heartworm positive, lyme positive and had many bite wounds all over her body, legs, neck and ears. Other dog's from the property also suffered from severe emaciation, bite wounds and neglect. Sweet Sadie has healed from all the wounds, has been treated for heartworm disease, the bacteria from the tick bites causing lyme disease and will be spayed mid June. Sadly the trauma she suffered she is very large dog reactive meaning she can see a larger dog and starts barking aggressively and defending her area which is not uncommon from a case like her's. Sadie absolutely loves loves loves people, and kids. She does well with dogs smaller than her. Due to the trauma she suffered from she does have some permanent tremors almost resembling a Parkinson's patient. Sadie would do best in a home with no more than 2 stairs since she is wobbly. Sadie is housebroken and sleeps in a crate on her big bed. She loves to be outside so an above ground fenced in yard for her safety would be best or if she will be watched and leashed while outside but again if she see's a large dog she will become reactive. No e-collars, or electric fence should be used due to her tremors and neurologic issues she suffered. We had an overwhelming amount of donations that poured in for Sadie so her week of intensive care at the vets office, heartworm treatment, lyme disease medication, upcoming spay, all vaccines for a year and year of heartworm prevention have all been donated so she does not have an adoption fee. Sadie is ready to have her final loving home to enjoy her golden years and get all the love and spoils. She comes with a harness that has a handle on it for easy assistance on helping her up if needed, toys, orthopedic dog bed, and food. We do encourage a donations to help another dog in need.
Have you guessed that miss Mabel is a sibling to Margot, Murphy and Maverick? 8 week old pink nosed cuddle baby would be a great addition to any home with another dog. She really enjoys being with other dog's and laying against them. Loves being with her family, kids and other dog's. The momma is a 50 lb Border Collie and the dad a Pomsky. Mabel is almost 5 lbs, recently spayed, received a normal dr wellness exam, is microchipped and due back to Auburn Hills Animal Hospital 2 more times to finish vaccines (Included in adoption fee) Still needs some work on crate/ potty training. Is microchipped, vaccinated with Kennel cough for year. Comes with harness, leash, 5 months of sentinel spectrum. Adoption fee is $400
